Hulk HULK / DIEDERIK PEETERS

In this new show hothead Diederik Peeters is ready to blow a fuse and awake his inner Hulk. In his effort to get all worked up with anger and frustration, Peeters goes looking for the underlying mechanisms and dynamics of uncontrollable rage and the way they radically change our perception of reality, just so he can turn them upside-down again. In Hulk Peeters is joined on stage by Nada Gambier, but even light, sound, set and costume become characters in their own right. Read more...

It’s BUDA VISTA time again! A couple of times a year Kunstencentrum BUDA sets up these lovely festivals showing artists who’ve developed work in their art centre.

performance
For All Ears Kate McIntosh sets up the stage as an improvised adhoc laboratory for a series of acoustic recordings and unusual experiments. Relying on the help of the audience, a lot of questions and some old furniture, she delves into tests of social dynamic, crowds, and how we are – alone or together, in silence or noise. Read more.
